Broome has a tropical climate of hot, humid summers and warm winters. There are two distinct seasons, 'green season' and 'the dry'. The 'green season' commences in November with most rain late December through to March and can be accompanied by thunderstorms and tropical lows or cyclones. Temperature ranges mid 20°-30° celsius. April is the start of Broome's 'dry season'. Temperatures range mid 20°-low 30° celsius with overnight averaging approx 17° celsius.
