Operating out of Marina St Vincent 90 kilometres south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula the Lady Eugenie combines the excitement of ocean sailing with gracious hospitality. Take the helm or sit back, relax and let the crew take you to secret coves and waters teeming with dolphins, while you enjoy the view with champagne in hand. Whether day sailing or twilight sailing, this is a journey full of stunning scenery, friendly wildlife and great food and wine in the south of Australia.
Onboard Lady Eugenie experience the epitome of the good life presented as laid-back luxury in an atmosphere of classic and contemporary elegance. Introducing Lady Eugenie… Her clipper bow with a bowsprit you can walk on is perfect for watching dolphins and other marine life while there’s nothing more exhilarating than turning off her engine, relaxing and harnessing the power of wind in her sails. With beautifully maintained teak decks, and classical varnished hand rails, Lady Eugenie’s spacious decks are the perfect setting for sunbathing and sightseeing while the central cockpit provides plenty of comfortable seating, with a picturesque alfresco dining setting: a magical place to be at sunset. Onboard are four beautifully decorated, queen sized staterooms, all with air-conditioning, private bathrooms and showers and during the evening you can relax in the delightful and spacious saloon with dining table and comfortable lounge. Her professionally equipped, separate galley for the chef guarantees delicious meals made from local produce. Lady Eugenie has a stable centre console tender, to provide the opportunity for guests to get that little bit closer to nature, with snorkeling and access to the pristine beaches. Kangaroo Island Sailing Options aboard Lady Eugenie Departs Saturday and Sunday at 9am, returning to Marina St Vincent at 4pm with an Adelaide transfer inclusive option having a hotel collection at 7am and returns at 5.45pm. The Day Sail aboard Lady Eugenie has a minimum of 2 and maximum of 12 guests. These low passenger numbers will guarantee a relaxing sail, with plenty of space to move around. N.B. Please check in 30 minutes prior to sailing. Twilight Sail Departs Friday, Saturday and Sunday and sails 5pm to 7pm and an Adelaide transfer inclusive experience has a hotel collection at 3pm, returning at 8.45pm. Timings for this cruise are flexible and we endeavour to cater for all requests especially for guests who have a small window of opportunity but wish to enjoy this exhilarating experience. N.B. Please check in 30 minutes prior to sailing. 3 Day KI Adventure Departs (generally) the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 09.00am and returns to the Marina on the third day at 4.00pm. The 3 day Kangaroo Island trip will have a minimum of 2 guests and maximum of 8 guests plus crew onboard over night and is the perfect romantic, private and peaceful sailing adventure. There is a minimum age of 16 for shared tours, with no minimum age for private charter. N.B. Please check in 30 minutes prior to sailing. Corporate and Private Charter Lady Eugenie is a perfect yacht for private, customised charters for small intimate groups of up to 12 guests. Bookings can be made as individuals or as groups. Day Sails including fresh barbecue lunch, complimentary drink and morning and afternoon nibbles as standard but you can add additional options on request Sunset Sails including nibbles and a complimentary drink as the ice-breaker are perfect for a short introductory business/client experience, or a romantic interlude for a couple and can be tailored further to suit your requirements. N.B. Please check in 30 minutes prior to sailing. Your Hosts - Kangaroo Island Sailing is operated by husband and wife team Renee and Ashley Newman. Between them, they have clocked up more than 20,000+ Nautical Miles skippering a yacht from Spain to Australia via the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean sea, Panama Canal and South Pacific. They have also spent time working onboard charter and private yachts around the globe. Ashley is an experienced commercial skipper and Renee is a Marine Biologist, so whether you’re interested in sailing or the marine animals you see along the way, both have experienced oceans of adventure throughout the world. Notes: Children - Child rates apply up to age 16 years. We have a ‘no children’ policy on our 3 day shared Kangaroo Island charters, however you may book a private charter (subject to availability) if you have children and wish to experience the 3 day KI trip. Drinks onboard - Local beers, ciders and wines are served onboard. Soft drinks and water are also available. Our liquor license does not allow people to bring their own alcohol. Sailing Conditions - Kangaroo Island sailing will operate in most conditions unless the Captain decides to cancel. It is only the Captain who will make this decision. If Kangaroo Island Sailing cancels a trip, we will try and book you in for another day or if that is not possible you will be refunded. This is the only condition when a refund may be offered. If cancellation is going to happen, we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible. Alternative activities on the Fleurieu Peninsula/Kangaroo Island can also be arranged.
