De Coudie Beach House, Kangaroo Island

The De Coudie Beach House was designed by Sydney Architect, Prue Murdoch, whose brief was to create a modern, livable design that blended with the natural environment and nestled into the sand hills. The appeal of Island Beach as the perfect location also rests with the fact that it is fringed by dense bushland, with a beautiful sandy beach that stretches as far as the eye can see, and there are no shops, making De Coudie Beach House the quintessential Kangaroo Island beach holiday location.
