Approaching the house along the bush lined driveway, keep an eye out for residents such as kangaroos, wallabies, goannas or echidnas. On the way to the house you will be struck by the rich and varied colours of the local flora. Getting to De Coudie Beach House - Kangaroo Island

By Car - You can bring your vehicle from the mainland by ferry or you can hire a vehicle from Kingscote, Penneshaw or the airport. Four-wheel drive vehicles are not necessary. With care, you can enjoy all the Island has to offer in a conventional vehicle.
