Pretty Beach House is set high on the escarpment above Pretty Beach and nestled into Bouddhi National Park, surrounded by ancient angophoras with views through silver-green eucalypts across the oyster farms of the sparkling Brisbane Waters. The three unique, exclusive and private pavilions have names that describe their best feature: Treetops Pavilion, Bayview Pavilion and Hideaway Pavilion.
Attached to the main house, Treetops has upstairs-downstairs options, and a bathroom, including a freestanding bath. All three pavilions at Pretty Beach House offer a king size bedroom with separate dressing room, deluxe en-suite bathroom with double sinks, Li’Tya toiletries and spacious shower with underfloor heating.
The open plan sitting area is orientated to take advantage of the panoramic views. Facilities include - flatscreen television, pre-loaded ipod and dock, CD/DVD players and library, wireless internet connection, fully stocked bar, and combustion log fireplace. The dining, lounging and bathroom areas lead on to private decks with day beds and heated plunge pools. The décor is simple and strong, with tub chairs in vintage leather, 1930’s travel trunks, hand crafted tables and fine Belgium linen.
The Main House situated in the heart of the property, has an Atrium style dining and lounging area, intimate cocktail bar, wine cellar, open fireplace plus communal infinity pool and huge deck. Interiors compliment the bushland surround, featuring local sandstone and recycled timbers. Local artists have created and displayed sculptures throughout.

Experience the Manfredi Approach at Pretty Beach House
At Pretty Beach House every meal, every snack, every picnic hamper and every wine you enjoy is included in the tariff and chosen by Stefano Manfredi. Italian born Stefano Manfredi is one of Australia’s most celebrated and influential chefs and a leading exponent of Modern Italian cuisine. The Manfredi approach to simplicity, elegance, service and superb food is evident in every aspect of Pretty Beach House.
Stefano Manfredi’s Italian style cuisine is a highlight of any visit to Pretty Beach House and guests may choose to dine at any time of day privately within their own pavilion, in the main dining area, in the wine cellar or al fresco in the beautifully landscaped property. An extensive range of premium wines and spirits have been selected to complete the gastronomic experience. For those looking even further, the wine cellar is stocked with rare old and new world wines.
Breakfast - Stefano’s chefs make all the sausages, bread, pastries, jams and granola in-house for breakfast. A choice of cured ocean trout, asparagus, mushrooms, crispy prosciutto, spinach or fresh herbs are served with delicious signature, Pretty Beach House eggs that come fresh from the free-range hens at Bells at Killcare. Stefano sources traditional bacon from his Italian butcher Pino Tomini-Foresti, honey from local hives and makes his own clotted cream served with fresh seasonal fruits.
Lunch - may offer a selection of antipasti that includes salumi, vegetables, sweet and sour peppers, eggplant caponata and local crayfish with garlic mayonnaise. In summer there is chilled soup such as tomato with saffron and asparagus with spring peas, while picnic hampers contain a delicious array of traditional Italian style panini plus fruits and tarts. For winter, expect hearty seafood and barley stew, winter vegetable minestrone and veal shank with faro, all served with bread baked daily on the premises.
Dinner - is a more formal affair and guests may dine in the Atrium dining room, privately within their own pavilion, in the wine cellar or Al fresco on the landscaped property with the menu changing daily. Should guests decide on a tasting menu, this can be easily arranged. An extensive range of premium wines has been selected to complete the gastronomic experience. For those looking even further, the wine cellar is stocked with rare old and new world wines.
Morning and Afternoon Tea - is available throughout the day offering fresh fruit and a selection of biscotti, cakes and tarts on a seasonal basis. Should guests prefer, a selection of fresh breads, grissini, olives, pickles and cheeses are available.
Room Service - a selected menu can be brought to your room 24-hours a day.
Hotel Bar - an intimate cocktail bar sits tucked away on a mezzanine level off the main living area, replete with white mini grand piano if you fancy tickling the ivories. There's also a great wine cellar for quaffing the old stuff. The bar is only open to guests, so has an exclusive feel, with chef Manfredi even choosing the mood music on the iPod playing in the background. Don't miss the signature Aperitif cocktail, with campari, gin, fresh lime and cranberry juice served straight up martini style or as a long drink over ice.
Excursions - can be as simple as a professionally guided bush walk or as challenging as a fishing excursion aboard the 38ft pretty Beach CABO sports cruiser. Cruise to one of the many secluded bays or beaches with a Pretty Beach House picnic hamper. Lobster beach, Boxhead and the surf break at Tallow beach are all within easy walking distance, while Killcare surf beach, Maitland Bay and the seaside villages of Killcare, Wagstaffe and Haredy’s Bay are close by.
