Chamberlain Suite The Suite is stylishly decorated with rustic authentic Australian furnishings, is air-conditioned and offers a large wardrobe area, a modern bathroom with double shower and an indoor/outdoor private double bath overlooking the Chamberlain Gorge. Bedding consists of 1 king size bed (2 king single beds by arrangement). Maximum 2 people. Cliff Side Retreat The thoughtfully finished Retreats offer spacious, light filled interiors with quality furnishings that fit naturally within the Kimberley environment. The walkthrough wardrobe leads to a modern en-suite where the stunning El Questro landscape can be viewed at every turn. From the shower, access either the free standing bath on the verandah or the garden rain shower surrounded by magnificent stone walls that provide complete privacy. Generous ceiling fans and whisper quiet air conditioning ensure your comfort. Bedding consists of 1 king size bed (2 king single beds by arrangement). Maximum 2 people. Chamberlain Gorge Room Homestead Room El Questro Homestead Tariff Includes: The tariff includes accommodation, gourmet cuisine, all beverages (excluding Cellar Master wine selections), a personalised itinerary and guided tours within the El Questro Valley. Please note: El Questro Homestead is open from 1 April - 31st October each year. Children 12 years and under are not catered for at El Questro Homestead. El Questro Homestead Facilities Dining at El Questro Homestead Breakfast -The Homestead comes alive early each morning as the intense Kimberley sun bathes the nearby ranges in a soft pink glow. A myriad of birds take delight in the cool morning dew. Guests enjoy their breakfast in true country style on the wide, sweeping verandah with views of the range. Arrive early before going on a guided walk or nature tour; come later after your bird watching or horse riding adventure, or perhaps breakfast on the lookout at sunrise is your morning activity. Whatever the time, you can expect beautifully prepared fresh, seasonal ingredients. Lunch - is as much a social event as the time for sating appetites after an active morning. A welcoming long table transforms guests into knowledgeable tour guides as they compare details of their morning excursions and offer advice to new comers freshly arrived from the morning flight. The outdoor setting is kept cool under a shady awning and offers opportunity to native animals. Savour two cool courses accompanied by artisan bread and olive oil and a perfect glass of Western Australian white wine. Picnics are also a much loved indulgence. Guests take delight in the basket of surprise treats presented. Revitalise with cuisine that embraces the spirit of endless summer. Dinner - The evening begins at the convivial bar as guests sample hors douvres and share tales of the day’s adventures while enjoying a glass of Champagne or a signature cocktail. While the dinner party beneath the stars comes alive, tables set on the cliff side may beckon romantic couples to share a moment. The three course menu changes nightly, offering a perfectly balanced selection that won’t be duplicated throughout your stay. A surprising array of carefully chosen cheese may be served by the open fireplace for all to share. PLEASE NOTE: Visitors are required to purchase a Wilderness Park Permit to enter into El Questro.
How to get to El Questro Wilderness Park
By Air - Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Kununurra via Perth or Darwin. Private VIP jet services are available from Sydney and Melbourne, direct to Kununurra. Aeroplane and Helicopter charters are available from Kununurra to the Homestead. These can be arranged in conjunction with your El Questro Homestead accommodation package. Alternatively you may like to fly your own plane to El Questro.
By Road - El Questro is situated in the East Kimberley, 110 kilometres west of Kununurra by road - 58 kilometres on the sealed Great Northern Highway towards Wyndham, with the remainder on the unsealed and corrugated gravel Gibb River Road. We strongly recommend hiring a 4WD vehicle for the duration of your stay at El Questro, so you have the opportunity to explore the property at your leisure. All major car rental companies have offices in Kununurra. Our reservations staff will be happy to arrange this on your behalf.
